We use many techniques including intraoral appliances, laser surgery, and somnoplasty to treat the area at the back of your mouth — the soft palate — which is responsible for snoring. The treatment is directed at the tissues of the soft palate, preventing obstruction of the airway which causes snoring. The procedures is performed in the office under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation. Your recovery time depends on the treatment that best fits your specific problems.
