About Our Practice

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Slade, Dr. Tamaroff, Dr. Cunning, Dr. Land and Dr. Huy manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. We practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant placement, bone grafting and wisdom tooth removal to the treatment of oral diseases and corrective jaw surgery for function and aesthetics. We also treat obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, facial injuries and fractures, and temporomandibular disorders.

Our doctors are certified for administration of outpatient general anesthesia and sedation by the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In addition, we are all certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and are re-certified regularly.
