Edwin W. Slade, Jr., D.M.D., J.D.
Edwin W. Slade, Jr., D.M.D., J.D., graduated from the University of Connecticut and received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He was a resident in Dental Medicine and Surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut/Hartford Hospital. He received his law degree cum laude from Temple University School of Law and is a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine.
Dr. Slade is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology. He is the Past President of both the Pennsylvania and Delaware Valley Societies of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and served both as District 2 Trustee and the Treasurer of the AAOMS. He is presently the AAOMS representative on the Board of Directors of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry and the International College of Dentistry.
Dr. Slade is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, having taught there for 16 years.
