Meet Dr. Rodriguez

Allison RodriguezDr. Allison Rodriguez received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL in 2006 where she graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the Top Honor Graduate and received the Top Honor Medallion award. She served as the President of Tau Sigma National Honor Fraternity during her time in Florida. Dr. Rodriguez received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 2011 where she graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship yearly throughout her education at the University of Pennsylvania. During her dental school training, she completed a research project through the Vernon Brightman Student Research Program. Dr. Rodriguez also enjoyed volunteering for numerous outreach activities and programs in the Philadelphia area and abroad, providing dental care services and oral health awareness to the underserved populations in Honduras.

Dr. Rodriguez completed her residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA from 2011-2017 and served as chief resident from 2016-2017. During her residency training, Dr. Rodriguez received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 2014 where she graduated magna cum laude. She also completed a year of general surgery training in 2015 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. During her time in residency, Dr. Rodriguez gave numerous presentations on different topics in oral and maxillofacial surgery and wrote several case report papers. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Academy of Osteointegration, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society and the American Medical Association.

Outside of work, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community, participating in running races throughout the region, and spending time with her husband, family and friends living in Pennsylvania and Colorado.
